​​​Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MercadoLibre since January 2024. He previously served as Senior Vice President and CFO from August 2023 and joined MercadoLibre in 2013 as Vice President of Strategy. Between 2017 and 2023, he was the Senior VP of Mercado Crédito. His prior experience includes roles at Vostu, IMPSA, Merrill Lynch, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford and a B.S. from UNC Chapel Hill.​​​​

Before MercadoLibre, he managed the hotels business unit at Despegar and worked on strategy at Boston Consulting Group. He holds a Cum-Laude degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and an M.B.A. from Stanford.​​​​

He has over 10 years of experience in financial markets and graduated in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.​​

Before joining MELI, worked at Lehman Brothers Inc. in the United States, and at Banco Pactual and Banco Icatu in Brazil. He currently serves as a director of DASA and has served as a director of Arco Educação. Mr. Tolda holds a master’s in business administration from Stanford University, a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, also from Stanford University, and a certificate in financial accounting from Harvard Business School (Online).
