MercadoLibre, Inc. (the “Company”) is aware of the press reports regarding the sale of securities issued by the Argentine Treasury (Letes and Lecaps) by an asset manager holding funds on behalf of MercadoLibre customers, in the weeks preceding the extension of maturity of those instruments. The Company is not aware of any alleged misconduct. The Company understands an action has been submitted to an Argentine judge by a prosecutor relating to these allegations. The Company does not yet have a copy of that submission, and it is not aware of its contents. The Company is following the developments closely, and when it has additional information, it will determine its course of action.
The shares are listed on the Nasdaq Global Market and trade under the symbol “MELI.”
